About Us
We are Dave and Emily Hall, a husband and wife team who have both worked professionally as captains. While Dave continues to work on the water, Emily is a science teacher in the area. We both spend our free time on the water and love to share our knowledge and passion for the ocean with those around us. After years of bringing friends and family out on the water, we decided to share this experience with guests at Tops'l Farm. At the end of the summer in 2019 we started to do charters on our 21 foot Grady White but with the pandemic in 2020, we took a break from starting a business. In 2023, we upgraded to a 25 foot Proline and we are looking forward to bringing guests out to explore Medomak River and Muscongus Bay.
Trips and Cost
Hourly Charters (Minimum of 2 hours)
Rates are $150 per hour
Six guests possible but more comfortable for four adults.
We offer private Maine charters. Some custom options we can include are the following:
- Travel the area by boat seeing islands, looking for seals, or watching eagles and osprey fly overhead.
- Join us for the lobster pot haul.
- Take a leisurely sunset cruise.
- Get dropped off at a local waterfront restaurant in Round Pond or New Harbor.
- Spend some time exploring, having lunch, or just sitting on the rocks at an island nearby.
- See the puffins at Eastern Egg Rock* (This trip may have a fuel surcharge due to rising fuel costs. You can contact us for more information.)
Medomak River and Muscongus Bay
We will will depart from the head of the Medomak River, a tidal river that leads to Muscongus Bay. Because the river is home to some of the leading clam flats in the state of Maine, our schedule is tidal. Please, reach out to us with a date to ask what times may be available for trips.
